WELDING ALUMINUM ALLOY INVESTIGATIONS WITH EDDY-CURRENT DEFECTOSCOPY METHOD
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to make investigations at aluminum alloy welded structures in condition of normal welding (TIG-tungsten inert gas welding), and the same procedure but arc-weld is disrupting and makes void spaces into the weld bead. It is very known that aluminum reacts with oxygen despite of using protective argon atmosphere and will cause porosity which decrease strength and ductility. Keywords
