The Role of Education in the Future AGI. A Study on the Balance of Education, Finance, and Social Welfare
Gabriela Dobre Gabriel Dumitrescu30-Oct-24https://conferinta.e-nformation.ro/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Proceedings_ALLS_14_3_compressed.pdfEducationAccording to the provisions set out in Objective 4 of the Agenda for Sustainable Development set up by the United Nations in September 2015 for the implementation of a fair and quality education, boundless by borders as a result of the adhesion of the states fully assumed for these objectives, the action plans must be vitalized and contextualized by the information crisis created by the pandemic, war, and artificial intelligence. These circumstances have instituted a global tension in education. While some companies are cushioning this tension through their investments in the specialization of employees, the solution to neutralize the global educational risk is the development of the public educational process per the worldwide objective. For future generations of professionals, educational practices must establish and develop contextualization and practice to meet the competence requirements required by AGI (artificial general intelligence) within enterprises. In AGI companies people use LLM (large language model) for evaluation and analysis and specialization involves competence for the profession's deontology and appropriate technical professional training. Thus, there is an established need for an educational program that develops upskilling, a program with a double significance: the establishment of professional skills and the foundation of personality attributes for safe, ethical, and responsible professional practice. The UN together with the OIM calls for a unitary educational system in principles and the implementation of an educational process based on scientific thinking and developed socio-emotional skills. The general subject of this article examines to what extent education impacts social well-being and financial performance. The research aims to study the circumstantial conditional association between education, well-being, and economics and to highlight the impact of education on social welfare and the economy. The research is based on information capitalized in Eurostat, IMF, and OECD databases and starts from the status quo of the last 20 years, the analysis of this period notes an increasing rate of completion of the higher education cycle, but UNESCO statistics on skills acquired in reading and calculation affirms a decreasing rate of these. Going forward with the research, we observe the consequence in the employment rate for people who have graduated from an institution of higher education, much higher than the employment rate of primary or secondary education graduates, the Nordic countries being at the top of this ranking. This situation, however, generated an increasing unemployment rate in the analyzed period. This study researches how extent programs combat unemployment among young people aim to increase practical and social-emotional skills, analyzes the impact of investments in education and their effect on the economy, and the incidence of integrity and quality control of the educational process. Graphical representations and data analysis are performed in Microsoft Office.Read More -

Alin-Serafim Ștefănuț17/07/202410.56177/red.10.2024.art.1Research & EducationTeaching Romanian as a foreign language is a relatively new field of study, which owes its evolution and openness to alterity as a form of globalisation and facilitation of mutual knowledge. Multiculturality and interculturality are tangible aspects of our daily activity and not just mere theoretical concepts that hardly find their applicability in everything that concerns our existential horizon. In an ever-changing society, it is necessary to articulate coherently one's personal identity and self-image, so that dialogue can be carried out in an appropriate and informed manner, and so as to promote knowledge of the other from as many points of view as possible, especially when learning a foreign language.Read More -

Optimizing the Educational Process for Students in Special Schools – Study on the Development of Static and Dynamic Balance through Activation and Toning of the Core Area in Physical Education Lessons
Carmen Pârvu Cătălina Mârșiu Dan-Alexandru Szabo30/12/202310.56177/red.9.2023.art.8Research & EducationThe study assessed the impact of core activation and toning programs on the static and dynamic balance of students with special educational needs (SEN) in middle school physical education classes. We found that over a period of 6 weeks, with 2 lessons per week, these programs led to significant improvements in the students’ balance, regardless of the type of disability. Students with visual impairments and sedentary lifestyles showed the greatest progress. Somatic and functional measurements were conducted on the 15 students with special needs, and 9 tests (Bass Test, Flamingo Test, Functional Reach Test, Unipodal Test with left eye closed, Unipodal Test with right eye closed, Unipodal Test with left eye open, Unipodal Test with right eye open, Y-Balance Test left, Y-Balance Test right) were administered to assess static and dynamic balance. After implementing the core activation and toning program, a correlation analysis between the two variables was conducted, followed by the calculation of the t-test for paired samples to assess if there were significant differences between the two sets of measurements and tests. After 6 weeks of using core activation and toning exercises with a frequency of 2 lessons per week for students with special needs, we observed a favourable increase in both static and dynamic balance for six pairs of tests. The differences were statistically significant at a significance level of 0.05 out of the 9 tests conducted. Proprioceptive stimulation played a crucial role in these improvements in static and dynamic balance among those with various types of disabilities (intellectual, visual, and auditory). We recommend incorporating core activation and toning programs into physical education for children with disabilities to enhance muscle tone and balance. However, the small sample size reminds us that data generalization should be done with caution, and we suggest conducting further studies with a larger number of participants and a longer training duration. This study emphasizes the importance of balance development among students with SEN and the potential benefits of a core-focused approach in middle school physical education.Read More -
